The Centre for Governance and Public Accountability (CGPA) appreciated the KP government's good governance reforms agenda, and anticipated that Right to Services Law together with Right to Information Law could bring much needed improvement in the social service delivery. CGPA demanded that in the same spirit, KP government should also enact Right to Education Law as per spirit of the 25-A of Constitution of Pakistan.

It welcomed the KP Right to Services Law, and termed that the law has the potential to hold public service providers accountable for public service delivery. The organization further said the law can ensure timely public service delivery, within true spirit of citizens' empowerment.

It further said the law does not provide list of public services to be covered under the law. It would be later decided by the KP government to decide which public services should be covered under the law. CGPA further recommended that the public services should include education, all municipal services and tasks assigned to local government entities. Furthermore, the law should include public services such as birth registration, death registration, issuing of license for vehicles, driving license, utilities such as electricity connection, phone connection, water connection, gas connection, issuing of CNICs, including name in the electoral list, registration certificate for chemist store, registration of FIR, issuance of domicile certificate, issuing of income certificate, issuing of passport, and tax registration.
