The District Coordinator and Assistant District Coordinator is responsible for campaigning with parents, civil society leaders, religious scholars, district finance department and district education department officials to improve primary education governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They will carry out field related project activities as prescribed in the Project Implementation Process and Project Implementation Guidelines. He /She will act as ambassadors for CGPA and uphold ethical values prescribed by CGPA and Donor.
The field team will be responsible for carrying out field work under the project titled ‘Community Social Audit of Water and Sanitation Sector in Mardan District’. The Social Organizers will be responsible for liaising with, district public health and engineering department, tehsil municipal administrations TMAs, civil society leaders, religious scholars, district finance department and media journalists to improve social accountability in water and sanitation sector in Mardan district. They will carry out field related project activities as prescribed in the Project Implementation Process and Project Implementation Guidelines. He /She will act as ambassadors for CGPA and uphold ethical values prescribed by CGPA.
1. Effective Coordination with District Education Office, Community members, District Finance Office, CSOs, Journalists, Government Schools and PTAs.
2. Ensuring the assistance needed to Project Manager is duly provided.
3. Providing support to SNG team wherever required in implementation of project activities.
4. Ensuring the compliance of all project related guidelines by the team in their respective fields of action.
5. understanding of education governance issues
6. How to access information using KP RTI law
7. Ensuring that all project activities are being done in timely fashion and necessary Information is being collected and updated properly.
8. Conducting Community Score Card survey using Community Score Card Survey manual developed by CGPA
9. Conducting Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) in community
10. Organizing training workshops for journalists, education service providers, education staff and PTCs etc
11. Conducting interface meetings
12. Identification of participants for consultative sessions on output based /result based school budgeting model
13. Rapport building with stakeholders in terms of Formal and informal liaison with important stakeholders e.g. District Government, District Education Department, District Finance Department and local notables/NGOs
14. Data collection and reporting.
1. At least 5 years of relevant experience in development sector
2. Experience of working with NGOs/INGOs/Donor Agencies.
3. Demonstrated ability of implementing/coordinating projects/programs for district-level development projects.
4. Knowledge/experience of implementing effective project management plans.
5. Excellent report writing and presentation skills are a must.
6. Ability to meet targets within tight deadlines.

9. Strong oral and written English communication skills required.
10. Sound judgment, flexibility, adaptability and cultural sensitivity.
11. Proficiency in MS Office Suite required.
12. Carrying out any other special assignment given by the Executive Director and Project Manager within the field of his/her competence.
